Our Market - Megode's target market focuses on small to medium businesses (SMB) and their unique business problems. Our passion is to deliver targeted, cost effective SMB BI capabilities.
Historically, in part because of the tools and consultant costs, BI (Business Intelligence) has been a capability exclusively leveraged by large enterprises. While BI tools have come more in line with SMB budgets, highly skilled BI consultants remain focused on lucrative large enterprise solutions. This leaves the deliverables created for today's small to medium businesses in the hands of more junior talent more often than not leaving SMB companies with some form of reporting application rather than a true BI capability. In truth, today more than ever, SMB businesses leadership require true Business Intelligence from their data to be able to make critical, time-sensitive decisions.
Megode's focus is on the complex, evolutionary nature of small-to-medium businesses. Megode believes that companies will go through specific stages of maturation (ask us to show you the research!). Each of Megode's SMB clients is evaluated and their appropriate BI solution is created to (a) meet that businesses' needs today while and the same time (b) place executives in a position to make key strategic decisions for their future growth and direction.
This BI strategy keeps our client's costs to a minimum (and always with a clear ROI tactic at each stage of maturity) but always with an eye on our client's future business direction(s).

Together they offer decades of experience in business development, business architecture, enterprise development, BI and data warehousing skills. Each partner brings to the core executive team complimentary skill sets and focuses ranging from a passion for the clear identification of the business problem (the "what") to the ideal business solution (the "how").

Anthony Kippen has over 14 years’ experience in the software industry. He has extensive knowledge of database systems and BI infrastructure. He has worked as a contractor, a solutions architect, and a small business owner. He has worked in 2 different startups and has over 6 years invested at Microsoft in divergent roles.
He has skills ranging from core software development platforms to designing and implementing enterprise wide BI solutions. He has held senior positions at Aquantive and Microsoft, and earned the nickname “liberator” due to his never give up attitude and his continued ability to solve “unsolvable” problems.
Tony has in-depth knowledge in all Microsoft technologies, teradata platforms, oracle, SAP and most reporting platforms including Cognos. He likes to keep abreast of emerging technologies and is usually on the early adopter programs for most software out there.
When Tony is not working he manages to get around a golf course very well, and very much enjoys the outdoors at every available opportunity.
